NEWS of the Ocean's
Our nest is empty. We have been taking time and a few short trips to bond with the two babies we are keeping. Frida (Oceansridge Pepper X) and Kahlo (Oceansridge Dogtor Pepper). Here are the pups sleeping it off after a few wines at lovely vineyards on Waiheke.
29th February 2024
Almost all our babies have found amazing families. We are just looking for the right home for our special smoothback girl Ghost Pepper. Beautiful and cleaver with a fantastic temperment, she has so much potential to bring joy to her forever family. For more information please get in touch. Visitors welcome!
*Puppies Available Update* 09/02/24
We currently have 1 beautiful female and 1 handsome male available. Please get in contact if you are interested or would like more information. All our other pups have found amazing homes all around the country and even one (so far) out of the country who is patiently awaiting her flight to Hawaii to become a Hawaiian princess on Maui!
We had a cool young photographer named Monaco visit us wanting to take photos of the pups so we are lucky enough to have some amazing professional photos of some of the pups that we will cherish.

Week Six and Seven!
We have been super busy introducing the pups to life on the farm. So many new smells, sounds and animals. They seem to have taken it all in their stride! A lot of the babies have amazing new families awaiting them and we are now on to organising all the not so exciting paper work.
We have been getting a lot of visitors and the local kids are loving playing with the pups each day. We have been slowly exposing each puppy to various animal here - chickens, cows and sheep, as it is important for these dogs to become comfortable with stock from a young age - especially since a few are going to farms.
Week Five
Happy New Year from all the pups! The puppies have been busy learning to pee outside. 60% of the time it works every time! Every day they are turning more and more into little dogs. They all have a good turn of pace already and if you blink they can disappear!
Indoors is not enough for them anymore. They venture into the garden testing all the new tastes, sights and sounds. They all absolutely love it and can't get enough. Thankful the weather has been half decent too.
Week Four - Chili's Galore!
It's the baby Chili-Peppers first Christmas! Turning Four weeks old on Christmas day. What a milestone, we wouldn't have it any other way. They are full on, sleep and play. Now eating four+ meals of solid food a day. That's the Christmas way.
We are feeling extreemly blessed this Christmas that all our babies are healthy and happy. They are growing up so fast! A few pups are already climbing out of the whelping box and setting off on adventures of their own. Four more weeks and they'll be ready for their forever home!
Week Three - keeping busy!
The puppies are alert, mobile and trouble! Tiny teeth have started pushing through and the pups have started getting the odd solid meal to suppliment Mamas milk - we are unsure whether they like to eat it or swim in it more.. Puppy wrestle mania has kicked off during every waking minute. Get your bets in quick!
Personalities are showiung, and the babies are becomming cuddly. If you are needing a puppy cuddle fix, feel free to stop by.
11/12/23 - Week Two doggy doo
As week two closes our beautiful babies eyes have opened! How special it is observing them taking in their surroundings, seeing their mumma for the first time and making eye contact with us odd two legged dogs.
As puppies eat more and their bowel control gains more traction, the aromas being emmitted from the whelping box increase. The puppies, seemingly purposfully are making their way to the sides of the box to do their business in an attempt to keep the mat clean. That's what we like to think anyway, it could just be blind luck..
Just when sleep was looking a prospect, the noise levels have gone up as our little Chili-Peppers find their ears! Putting a sound and a face to those former sibling smells is currently keeping us entertained.
04/12/23 - Week One Done
Born on the full moon, our beautiful Chili-Pepper delivered 13 healthy pups with relative ease. Being her first litter it was absolutely amazing watching how her instincts took over and she seemingly knew exactly what to do. Laying down and standing up without squashing each one however is another matter! We have had sleepless night full of puppy delights making sure Chili can navigate a safe route through the traffic. Now the first week has come to a close, she can almost do it blindfolded allowing us a few hours of sleep here and there!
Puppy personalities are quickly starting to show and we can't wait to share what mischeif they get up to as they get older! We are expecting the eyes and ears to open towards the end of Week Two. From then the babies will be even more exciting to view.

We are really excited to be expecting our first Oceansridge litter. Chili and Bobbi (CH Sanridge Perfect Gentleman) make a perfect match!
Chili is expecting her first litter of baby Chilis early December 2023!
